GENEVA 2026
I vaguely remember being in Geneva as a teenager, though I honestly don’t recall the exact reason—perhaps it was a school trip?
On this later trip to Switzerland I realized an old elementary school friend was living and working in Geneva, and when I reached out she was genuinely delighted and surprised to hear from me. She offered to meet me at the station and happily showed me around the city. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch together in a charming restaurant in the Old Town, then wandered the streets for hours. She was remarkably patient as I paused to take so many pictures along the way, and her easy company made the day feel warm and familiar.
45 years had passed since we last saw each other!
