BERN WITH PENNY AND SARAH
Since I’m pretty familiar with the City of Bern these days, I accompanied my cousin Sarah and her partner Sarah to show them around this beautiful Old Town. We strolled through the charming cobblestone streets and admired the historic facades as we made our way all the way to the bear enclosure, though the bears were most likely still hibernating. On the bright side, we did come across two daring guys who were brave enough to take a cool dip in the Aare, much to our amusement and a few onlookers’ surprise! On our way back, we decided to venture into the Cathedral (the Minster) and linger a little, taking in the quiet calm and sense of peace within.
